Well nothing new really. I am still looking for a job and have been unsuccessful in finding one.

Finally got my truck back… it took $1300, but I got it =). Got it all washed and looking nice this afternoon. Now if I just had a job so that I could fill the gas tank.

I recently discovered that some people actually read this thing… =)

Went to Lyndsay’s sister’s graduation yesterday. Not too shabby. The valedictorian had a much better speech than the boring one that we experienced last year.

Nothing new to report on the “Finding a Job” front… I still haven’t found one and I doubt I will. There is nothing in this town, absolutely nothing and it is getting on my nerves because my gas tank is very close to empty….

Well, my dad finally caved in and got DSL. It is working pretty well and it is nice to have a connection that is comparable to the one I had at school.

My truck’s transmission went out, so I am having to get a rebuilt one put in. That should be ready to go on Tuesday. I haven’t been able to drive in almost a week and it is getting annoying. I like my mom’s car, but for only one reason, the sound system. It beats mine by a long shot and if I could get one like it put in my truck for cheap, I would.

Lyndsay mentioned something about going to the museum district so I think I will take her to go do that. I am not a huge museum fan but I do like looking at some of the stuff and if we go together it’ll be fun. Personally, I am ready to go back down to Surfside beach and catch some rays… I need to start running every morning and get myself in better shape. Apparently my mom thinks that getting a job is more important. I can agree with her to a point because I need the money, badly. Then again, I really want to have the “do nothing” summer…

Well I got home on Wednesday after an experience on the highway that scared the crap out of me. I was coming down a hill getting ready to pass a truck when he decides to get back into the lane and I have to hit the brakes, well the brakes failed and I barely missed hitting him. I pulled over and luckily there was a Ford dealership in the town I was at (Goldthwaite, aka Nowhere)… They told me that the muffler piping had eaten through the rubber hose that carried brake fluid to the rear brakes. So I was extremely lucky.

It is good to be home though, getting some things done to the truck and I have noticed that it isn’t accelerating correctly from a stopped position. I think that the fan clutch in it is finally about to go. I will probably replace it some time this next week.

Wade Bowen & West 84 are playing at Lost Creek Park this Sunday so I am going to go and check ’em out…

Well, got one more final tomorrow (Economics) and then I am heading home… Hopefully I will get out of Lubbock no later than 9:30am so I can miss Austin traffic.

Well it is 12:17 am and I have decided to just stay up all night and take cat naps so that I will be able to get up for my 7:30am exam tomorrow. I think my idea for staying up is the best, because I know there is no way I would be able to get up and go to it if I went to sleep right now. This way, I study more and I am ready to go as soon as 7:30am comes…

I’ll let you know how the exam goes after I take it….

Today was the last day of classes!! w00t!! Freshman year is almost completely over!

I gotta study this week and make some A’s….

Today was my mom’s birthday. Happy Birthday mom!

Everything seems to work ok on the new server… There may be a few bugs still around but overall it seems alright.

I have to work on my math makeup exam today. It is going to be a real pain the butt, 57 questions, 3 parts to each question.

Well I am not doing anything special. I have to go over to the Delta Gamma house (Casee’s sirority) and help pass out candy to kids in a program called ‘SafeTreat’. They block off all of Greek circle to cars and all of the kids come and get to enjoy Halloween in a safe and controlled setting. I can’t forget to pick up two bags of candy *sarcasm* in all of my spare time *sarcasm*

Really cold! It was around 38 degrees today, but the wind made it feel like 10. We are supposedly going to get snow tomorrow, I honestly doubt it.

Today wasn’t too bad, had a History test that I did good on and my Geology class got cancelled!! =) That was a relief. Only 3 more Geology labs and I am done for the rest of the semester, woo hoo!!
