The whole thing is ridiculous and does nothing to solve the real problem here – that an individual with known terrorist ties, reported multiple times, managed to buy a ticket and get on the flight to begin with. That's what needs solving. Telling people they can't get up, use any device, or have a blanket on their lap does absolutely nothing except piss passengers off. It doesn't make anyone safer. Keeping these people off planes does. You know I couldn’t agree more.
