Is it just me or do people in Lubbock drive really really slow?? I guess it is because I am from a bigger city and we like to at least go the speed limit! I swear, no one in this town knows that there are signs on the side of the road that tell you how fast to go….
We had a company BBQ and meeting today. We all got these pretty nifty t-shirts, though I am not a big fan of t-shirts (would have rather had a polo type shirt). But it’s ok.
Lauri’s husband is going to take a look at my power steering pump in my truck tomorrow afternoon. I know it has gone completely out because it isn’t making anymore noise and is even harder to turn than it was before. Shouldn’t be too expensive though. I still haven’t gotten a CD player put in and I probably won’t for a while. It isn’t a big priority on my list so I’ll do it when I have the time and money.
I have an economics test and a statistics test this coming Thursday plus I need to keep up with accounting even more than I already am. I am finding the methods that some of these classes use to teach the students are a little insane. For accounting I basically have to do my homework twice. The first time it is on paper and the second time is on the computer… Why not do it all at once you ask? Well basically sitting at my computer desk trying to do math and read problems is not the easist thing in the world to do, especially when you like browsing the internet. Maybe they should just let us turn the homework in on paper. I haven’t talked to anyone that likes doing the homework on the internet, so don’t think it is just me complaining.
